At the heart of The Spark Youth Development Initiative is a commitment to unlocking the potential of youth in unincorporated DuPage County. The Community House’s Spark Programs proudly serve students at Anne M. Jeans Elementary School and Burr Ridge Middle School, offering daily after-school care, enrichment activities, youth athletic programs, counseling and mental health resources, study groups, and summer programs for children in grades K-8 within Community Consolidated School District 180.

Our programs combine personalized mentoring, engaging enrichment activities, career exploration, and memorable field trips that inspire curiosity and confidence. Licensed clinical counselors from The Counseling Center at The Community House provide vital mental health services, while dedicated mentors support students with homework help, social-emotional learning, and create joyful experiences that foster connection and lasting memories.

All services are offered at affordable rates, ensuring families have access to high-quality programs that enrish the lives of every child we serve.
