Your event has been approved by our staff and we look forward to having your celebrate with us at The Community House! Thank you for choosing us! Please fill out the waivers below that we requested in your approval email. 

Alcohol Agreement - Permit Conditions

Thank you for choosing The Community House for your event. As an event which will be serving alcohol, please sign below as an understanding of the rules specifically pertaining to your reservation.
**Any event serving alcohol must also submit: We will complete the Village of Hinsdale Annual Special Event Compliance Report on behalf of your event. Additionally, a $250 security deposit may be required on reservations planning to serve alcohol at the event. If so, your security deposit will be returned post-event. This Agreement, a $100 non-refundable permit processing fee and your basset certification(s) must be provided to us. Forms and fees must be submitted to The Community House at least 60 days in advance of your event.

1. I attest my event will conform to all local and state regulations concerning the use of alcohol
2. I attest that no guests under age 21 will be served alcohol at my event
3. I agree no alcohol may be served after 10:00 pm and no alcohol may be consumed on TCH property after 11:00pm.
4. I understand open alcohol containers may not be removed from the premises.
5. I understand alcohol must be served by a certified bartender or BASSET trained bartender. Bartenders not employed by a professional caterer or staffing company must provide a copy of their BASSET certification to The Community House before their event.
- Bartenders are responsible for not over-serving guests.
- Bartenders are responsible for observing all local and state liquor laws.
- Bartenders are responsible for enforcing alcohol cut off time.
- Open bottles of wine and/or alcohol may not be pre-set on dining tables.
6. I understand staff of The Community House will notify the Hinsdale Police Department if alcohol cutoff time is not obeyed or if guests behavior is deemed inappropriate.
7. As event host, I understand I assume responsibility for the actions of my guests, up to and including actions which may result in event cancellation.
- Any event cancellations due to actions of guests will not be refunded.

Overnight Storage Waiver 

The undersigned acknowledges that The Community House (TCH) is extending a special privilege in allowing items to be stored overnight, for one or more nights in their facility. In consideration of this privilege, the undersigned agrees to the following RELEASE:

I agree to release, waive, discharge, The Community House and it’s agents from all liability for any loss, theft, and damage. Therefore, I and/or my organization agree to assume full responsibility for stored items during the dates provided below.

Credit Card Authorization

All information will remain confidential.

Credit Card Type *

I authorize The Community House to charge the agreed amount listed above and the non-refundable credit card processing fee of 3% to my credit card provided herein. I agree I will pay the fee in accordance with the issuing bank cardholder agreement. I understand when paying the deposit, the balance will be automatically charged to my card on file 2 weeks before my event date unless otherwise directed.
