OUR JUNIOR BOARD

Join the Community House Junior Board Make a BIG impact while building leadership skills! Since 2012, the Junior Board has brought together local high school students to serve the community through volunteerism, leadership, and advocacy.

As a member, you’ll help coordinate signature events like Walk the Walk for Mental Health, support the Spark Youth Development Initiative, and volunteer at programs and fundraisers throughout the year. With opportunities ranging from event setup and coordination to hands-on service, there’s truly something for everyone.

Who Can Apply? Each year, more than 50 students from Hinsdale and surrounding communities serve on the Junior Board—modeling the spirit of service that defines The Community House. We welcome current sophomores, juniors, and seniors from area high schools. Applications for the 2025–2026 Junior Board are due by October 31st.
